Why start a blog?

It’s reported that there is over 500 million blogs out “there” today. So, why start one?

People blog about topics they are passionate about, to share expertise or share experience. If there’s one thing I can say, I have passion and experience about what I do. I don’t profess to know everything, but I will tell what worked, or even didn’t work, for me. I have been fortunate to both “see” and “experience”; that’s why I share.

I’m continually learning every day. I’m looking for the specifics of what I do, but also looking for the broad understanding of the world out there. We are learning creatures and the lifelong practice of learning makes our lives so beneficial.

I blog because I often find great, often little known, tidbits that make our jobs easier. I encourage you to read, learn, and enjoy. Any information provided in the blog posts are general in nature, often my perspective and/or opinion, and are not to be used as an alternative to legal advice.

In essence, they generally do not support any governmental activity or action. As municipal representatives, CEOs, PMIs and BIs have a greater opportunity to have their authority challenged.
